him + her is nashville based singer/songwriters seth and jenna herlich. 

seth and jenna have been making music together since they started dating in high school, but they formally became him + her in 2018 when, as newlyweds, they decided to sell everything they owned to tour the country full time. living in a camper, the husband-and-wife band played shows and slept in church parking lots for three years. along the way, seth and jenna dove deeper into songwriting and other creative outlets including film photography, video work and music production. they quickly grew into storytellers of the human experience, creating art in its various forms that is honest, true, and kind.

him + her’s last release, the full length record even in the dark (september 2020), was written and recorded while extensively touring the u.s. even in the dark showcases seth and jenna’s vulnerable songwriting, exploring the stripping away of the familiar and the hope that arises after loss. since then they have continued to write songs to meet people wherever they are in the process of loss, disappointment and restored hope.

in 2021, after almost three years on the road, seth and jenna transitioned to their new home in nashville where they began recording a new album with producer seth talley. they will release their next record, human, in 2022. seth says of the upcoming release, “My perspective keeps changing on what it actually means to be human, and that’s what’s been blowing up my world. i think God has more grace for me than i do, and he doesn’t expect me to be more than i am. and this record is us trying to be ok with that.”
